Rickmansworth Gymnastics Club (RGC)

Acknowledgement of Risk

It must be recognised that gymnastics is a sport that inherently involves an element of risk. By taking part in a class with RGC you agree and acknowledge that:

(i) You are aware of the inherent element of risk involved in the sport and you accept responsibility for exposing your child or your children to such inherent risk whilst taking part;

(ii) You will ensure your child complies at all times with the instructions of the coaches particularly with regard to conduct in the gym when using equipment and the wearing of suitable clothing for the activity.

British Gymnastics Membership

All of our members are required to have British Gymnastics (BG) Membership to participate. Please be aware that it is your responsibility to renew your child's BG Membership as without this your child is not insured so will not be allowed to join in the session. BG Membership renewal date is 1st October every year.

Termly Enrolments

All enrolment information will be sent out via email approximately 4 weeks before the end of term. Term fees must be paid by the deadline to secure your child's space. After the deadline, spaces will be offered out to children on the waiting list. It is your responsibility to ensure that this email address is correct and please check RGC emails are not going in to your junk folder. If payments are made via bank transfer you must email to confirm payment has been made as this wont be automatically updated on the system.

Cancelled session

In the unlikely event that RGC cancels a class for reasons out of their control, we will add an extra session in the term or credit the cost towards next term's fees.

Refunds

We cannot refund fees for missed sessions. You are only entitled to a refund if you have medical reasons or injury. We will ask for a hospital note.

Data Protection

The information given by you will be used by us to process any class registration and for contacting you. If you leave the club and do not wish to receive emails about holiday sessions please let us know. Any data that you provide will be held on an computer database accessible by authorised admin staff and head coaches. The details will not be released to any third party.

CONSENT TO PARTAKE

I consent to my son/daughter taking part in gymnastics RGC. He/she have no undisclosed medical conditions that might endanger him/her self or others. I will inform the Head Coach on arrival of any change to the given medical information. I authorise RGC to administer emergency medical treatment should the need arise.

My son/daughter and I will follow the directions of RGC Staff at all times and demonstrate a high regard for safety and behaviour. I understand that RGC may exclude any person acting against its interests.
