Holiday Camp (5 - 14yrs)
The Reach - Sports Hall (Holiday Camp)
Holiday camp at the Reach is for children aged 5-14 years, all abilities welcome. 9.30am-3.30pm. Early drop is available from 8.30am. Reception children are welcome, even if they haven't turned 5 yet, no 4 year olds who are still in nursery. We cannot accept children in nappies or who need assistanc …moree on the toilet. If your child has additional needs, please contact us ahead of booking. During the camp we will be doing lots of games and gymnastics. The main areas of gymnastics that we focus on include: vault, tumble, floor, rhythmic, aerobic and acrobatic. We use a range of equipment to achieve skills including but not limited to: forwards/backwards rolls, handstands, cartwheels, bridges, and for the more advanced gymnasts we will work round offs, handsprings, somersaults, and flicks. Please provide your child with a packed lunch and a drink and make sure your child is wearing suitable clothing for gymnastics. We will have a snack break in the morning and afternoon, and lunch will be around midday. On Thursday we will do badge testing, if your child passes their test you can purchase the badge and certificate for £5 at the end of the session. Half Term Workshop (4 - 14yrs)
The Reach - Sports Hall (Holiday Camp)
We are offering a 90 minute gymnastics workshop. This gives parents the option to send their child in to our holiday camp but just for 90 minutes of gymnastics training, rather than staying for the whole day if they don’t need the childcare.
